The Island View Restaurant

This is a local Japanese restaurant in Koh Samui. I checked the rankings online and it is still very high, so I had Japanese food here for dinner. The grilled saury here is very fragrant, grilled until charred, but very tender inside. I also ordered a Sukiyaki pot, which is my favorite. There are so many things in it, including a lot of vegetables and mushrooms.



The InterContinental Samui should be a good choice. The sunset is really amazing. It is very suitable as the beginning of a trip to Samui, because it is really far from the airport. The fare is about 300 yuan.

This time I stayed in a villa suite. The hotel itself is halfway up the mountain, so the first floor of the suite is the living room, and the room is down. The balcony is large enough, and the room type is close to the mountain. The privacy is still ok, but compared with Banyan Tree and the like, there are indeed more people in the whole hotel, which is not suitable for people who like quiet. The hotel should be about 10 years old, but it must have been renovated. The main leisure and living areas are very clean, but corners like the cabinets still have traces of time.
