A perfect evening and dinner seated in the charming little courtyard. It was cool and pleasant under the canopy of kiwi vines on a hot July evening. The maitre D was very friendly and the 2 young women, fairly new to the restaurant ( & new to France from India) were faultless in their care and service also. We enjoyed the food very much. Delicious.
I enjoyed the visit to Le Cheval Blanc. The menu was interesting, the food was well presented and very good. Service was excellent and the waiting time was very modest. The wine list was good, and the prices were adequate for the level of the restaurant.
The only problem was the very limited choice. Just fish and veal for the mains. As we only eat UK produced rose veal we ate elsewhere for our second night. La carte and Menus were virtually the same.
The restaurant has a beautiful courtyard covered by a kiwi fruit tree. The food was very good. The one issue was that having not only notified via 'The Fork' reservation service and even called in the evening before to state one member of our group was vegetarian no obvious meal option was put in place, just a plate of vegetables was pro-offered. This was very disappointment
