The Old Boathouse

The Sunday roast was one of the best I've ever had, the Beef was tender and the veg was soft, lots of roasts pots and parsnips, plenty of gravy and the plates were piping hot. Fabulous!

Lovely bright restaurant with great views over the lake. Staff friendly and helpful. Food delicious and well presented. Definitely worth travelling for and will come again.

My lovely old mummy enjoys eating here as the views onto the lake and wildfowl antics provide lots of nature oriented entertainment! We both enjoy the light and airy feel to the place and the staff are always welcoming. Parking is easy too.

A really good meal, friendly and most attentive Staff, we could not have wished for a warmer welcome. The ambience was perfect and we could not have asked for better, a lovely view of the lake, spotlessly kept and certainly we shall visit again. Highly recommended.
