Food was excellent!  Service was as well, considering the large tour groups to be accommodated.  Made for a somewhat noisy meal.

Very family friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The stir-fried vegetables allow you to fully enjoy the quality of locally produced produce. The tuna with Saracen breadcrumbs and the tuna and bottarga pasta were excellent.

We had relatively small appetites and ordered the seafood starter for 2 which was lovely.  Knowledgeable and very helpful staff who had an English menu and spoke English

Food delicious and the staff were very helpful. It was a very hot day and it was lovely to be in the cool cellar. A perfect evening.

The restaurant was easy to find.  The staff took time to explain all the dishes &amp; made great recommendations for the wine.  We shared the mixed starter which was delicious as was my tuna with fresh spaghetti.   My husband enjoyed the entrec&ocirc;te steak.  It was very good value &amp; we would highly recommend trying the restaurant.

We loved the food and wine! There were many good options but we had the snapper and the sirloin, after we had an appertivo (the club sandwich). Such great flavors. Service was a little slow but was great up until the end. We were trying to pay the bill and asked if we could tip since we enjoyed everything, and our waiter responded &ldquo;we don&rsquo;t do that in Italy, you just pay the bill&rdquo; which we found fairly rude. I&rsquo;ve been to Rome, Milan, and Florence where I&rsquo;ve always been able to tip. So just a note to not assume that guests haven&rsquo;t been elsewhere in Italy/around the world or be standoffish when they&rsquo;re trying to compliment the restaurant.. definitely hurt the vibe a bit.

Had a delightful and delicious meal in a small room adjacent to the terrace. The decor was pleasant and the food was excellent. With a waitress who wanted to make sure we had a great time, we were sure to remember and return to this restaurant. Delightful.

This was a new experience for us. The staff was very ready to explain how one could either pick their fish and method of cooking or one could choose something for their ready menu. The food was delicious. An amuse bouche of fried anchovies was light and tasty. We chose some fried sardines as an appetizer. Our dishes were orecchiette with octopus and pasta with mussels, ( already out of their shells) Very good. The restaurant is very pleasant. I would categorize it as casual, white tablecloth. Would definitely return.

Great food, great and personal service on a typical little Lecce square. Plates are presented in an original and sophisticated manner. In Italy, service staf can often be hurried, uninterested and distant. Not at Bianchodibiancho. Staff is friendly, take their time to explain the dishes and are attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Great decor, very intimate setting in a backyard style garden. Classic traditional food cooked very well. Everything you would expect from a Trattoria, with style.

One of my best meals in Julia. Don&rsquo;t even hesitate to make a reservation here. The chef starts by walking around to greet the entire restaurant and tries to make a connection with every table. The menu can be a tasting if you&rsquo;d like, but I opted for the &agrave; la carte choose your own adventure style. especially since I don&rsquo;t like desserts, I thought this was a much better value around &euro;20 per dish. Every dish was a stand out. I particularly loved the sea urchin and mussel caccio e pepe. The kitchen uses local and seasonal ingredients and has beautiful presentation. The service was always on point, I never felt neglected or othered because I was a tourist. There was a good mix of Italians and English speaking tables. You do have to budget about three hours for the entire meal, as there&rsquo;s plenty of time in between courses to digest. But, overall, if you&rsquo;re looking for a really great meal to understand how food from this region can be upscaled and elevated, you must try eating at Duo. Grazie!
