The Swan Holme

Lovely pub next to a lake. Friendly welcome. Sunday lunches were delicious. Generous portions. The outdoor dining area will be perfect for a summers day.

Having used the Swanholme for many years it was nice to see the new set up,The changers look very exceptional, The food and the service a very good standard,the waitress Cerys was very well informed with regards to the wines as well as the food and of a very pleasant manner all in all excellent.

The Swanholme is a lovely, welcoming place to eat or drink. The staff are so helpful, informative and will try to accommodate any requirements. We have been during the day and evening and staff are always attentive. The best thing about it from my point of view (apart from all the above!) is that it is truly dog-friendly. They even have their own little menu and treats at the bar. Other places which advertise as being suitable for dogs put you outside!!

We haven’t been to The Swanholme for a meal in a very long time. But we are so pleased we did. The gammon and curry followed by fruit crumble and custard were excellent. Good size portions and excellent quality. Looking forward to being in the area again so we can call for another tasty meal.

The food, service and surroundings were excellent. There was a real variety of meals to choose from. I had the curry, which was superb and my partner had the fish and chips which she thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be going back again.
