Il Portichetto

The food was delicious. The chef explained the menu in person. The place is just terrific, on the rooftop of the Marina. However, it appears that this restaurant had much better times. It seems oversized for the few guests. On the other large terrace to the northeast is a &quot;cemetery&quot; with old furniture.

My experience was unique. I don&#39;t usually leave reviews just because I don&#39;t feel like it. This time I&#39;ll take the time to express my most sincere opinion.
Usually everyone looks for excellent food quality, mega abundant dishes, impeccable service and rock-bottom prices. This doesn&#39;t exist.
That said, this restaurant offers truly excellent food quality (at least for my palate), and since I&#39;m an animal and a glutton at the end of the first course I was very sorry that it was finished (linguine allo scoglio).
A sense of bitterness and sadness crossed my and my body... but it&#39;s all my fault, because I would like to be able to gorge myself on delicacies demanding senseless and exaggerated portions.
The portions are correct, not too little and not too much. The right compromise to move on to a second course, fried calamari and prawns.
When you feel the taste of the sea and fish you realize it. Nothing to say, perfect.
I would also like to add a note of merit for the kindness and attention given by the staff since I was with a large dog and certainly not easy to manage. 
Kind and helpful, able to make you feel at ease. 
The prices are medium-high, and since I&#39;m not going to the sandwich shop under the house or buying pre-cooked foods from the supermarket but fresh and carefully cooked products, the game is worth the candle. 
Treat yourself to dinner and that&#39;s it. 
Really recommended. I hope to return soon.
