It is a 5 minute drive from the center of Desenzano, but you get there by a narrow road in the middle of the woods and with the last 50 meters on a dirt road, like in typical farmhouses. The restaurant (they also rent rooms) is completely new and furnished with great taste, with the possibility of dining outside under a pergola. As an entree they offer a tomato sauce made by them to put on bread, and it is excellent. The &quot;Il Rovere&quot; appetizer is excellent, with a mix of cold cuts (the bacon is exceptional!) accompanied by a giardiniera made by them, stracciatella, and other appetizers. Excellent choice of cuts of meat they serve on the grill, with even &quot;important&quot; cuts with prices per 100 grams. I will return!

E&#39; a 5 minuti di macchina dal centro di Desenzano, ma si arriva con una stradina stretta in mezzo al bosco e con gli ultimi 50 metri in sterrato, come nei tipici agriturismo. Il ristorante (affittano anche camere) &egrave; completamente nuovo e arredato con ottimo gusto, con la possibilit&agrave; di cenare anche all&#39;aperto sotto una pergola. Come entree offrono una salsina di pomodoro fatta da loro da mettere sul pane, ed &egrave; eccellente. Ottimo l&#39;antipasto &quot;Il Rovere&quot;, con misto salumi (eccezionale la pancetta!) accompagnati da una giardiniera fatta da loro, stracciatella, e altri stuzzichini. Ottima la scelta dei tagli di carne che servono alla griglia, con anche tagli &quot;importanti&quot; con i prezzi all&#39;etto. Ci ritorner&ograve; !

Eine moderne und ansprechende Atmosph&auml;re herrscht im Restaurant. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen sind ansprechend angerichtet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Es hat uns hier sehr gut gefallen.

Tutto buonissimo, dagli antipasti al dolce. Personale gentile e posto molto carino, deve essere bello godersi la cena nello spazio esterno, ma purtroppo non era ancora stagione. Da tornarci!

Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Friendly staff and very nice place, it must be nice to enjoy dinner in the outdoor space, but unfortunately it was not yet the season. We must go back!

Un luogo incantevole dove ristorare e godere con tutti i sensi. Adatto a famiglie, compagnie e a coppie. Bellissimo il contesto naturale, materia prima di qualit&agrave;. Ho apprezzato molto l&#39;entr&eacute; con il pane di farine integrali fatto in casa.

An enchanting place to rest and enjoy with all the senses. Suitable for families, companies and couples. Beautiful natural setting, quality raw materials. I really appreciated the entr&eacute; with homemade wholemeal bread.

Maybe a little expensive (although it is appreciated that service and cover charge are free), but the quality and courtesy are excellent

We reserved this restaurant online which was very convenient. We had walked past it a few times on our way to the hotel and noticed it was busy, but as the menu didn&rsquo;t mention gluten free, I was reluctant to try it. I needed have worried, we both had delicious fish and potatoes, all cooked to perfection, and had a choice of dessert. Very happy with the experience.

Great food and excellent service. The lobster ravioli were perfect the best we have had all week.Ambiente jut right. A small gem on  lake Garda who should not be missed!!!

Our go-to family restaurant in Desenzano del Garda in Lake Garda. A quaint restaurant located in the center of the city across from the lake. The menu has a great variety of foods, from seafood, to meat, to pizza, to risotto and many other unique dishes. The staff are all professional, friendly and eager to please. All this at a consistently fine restaurant and with at a very reasonable price. That is why we go there often with family and friends.
