Old Charlie

I would recommend this lovely restaurant. We booked it in advance of arriving in Lucca and it lived up to our expectations. We were met by a very friendly host who showed us to our table outside the restaurant with lovely views of the piazza. We were given a glass of Prosecco on the house as a welcome drink.The food was local and very tasty. I had the Tomahawk pork steak and my partner had the beef fillet. Both highly recommended dishes.The house wine was of a high standard.We will definitely visit Old Charlie when we return to Lucca.

The restaurant was placed In a square with lots of other restaurants, but there was a nice air to it and the service was fast and good!We had a spaghetti carbonara and some pizzas and all was very nice - a good recommendation from our family.

Booked the place at the last minute on a Tuesday night in July and I was amazed from the service and the food. Very fair price for really good food. Location is really suggestive. Highly recommended. Thank you

Lovely and friendly people, pizza medium qualtity, it used to be better, but we still enjoyed it. We will come back.
