Great restaurant in a fantastic location overlooking Lyon. Superb composed tastes from the kitchen, in the fresh dishes. Ambience is fantastic here, also friendly and skilled service. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a restaurant we return to each time we go to Lyon for their very good bread and cheese cart, and desserts. The mains we are never a huge fan of, they are very good at accommodating for gluten free, and have even accommodated for dairy and gluten free before. Just be aware that dinning can take 2-3 hours sometimes.

Nice Moroccan restaurant in Old Lyon, short walk from Metro and Funicular.  Welcome was enthusiastic and service was friendly and courteous.  There was some background music, but thankfully not so loud as to impair conversation.  Food was nicely seasoned and plentiful - we shared a Mezze appetizer and two mains, and would have been very satisfied with just one main.  Would return if in the area.

I loved Cafe Colombus. The food is good, and I recommend it without hesitation. The only drawback I found was that the food was not spicy as expected from a South Indian restaurant.

Fast food feel. Food is good, dessert was just ok. Friendly staff but you have to move to pay before your food comes.

Les Terrasses de Lyon

There is a French restaurant in Lyon with pretty good overall quality. The name of the restaurant is Le boueuf d&#39;argent. Their set menus are more cost-effective than a la carte dishes.

Lovely restaurant in the Old Town area of Lyon but just far enough off the main area to not be touristy, I think i was the only non french person in there. The service is relaxed and casual and i was made to feel very welcome. The Quenelle de Brochet was really really good. Quirky decor with the upside down wine bottles.  Price wise, very reasonable and seems a few Euros cheaper than the places in the main area.
