The Romney at Mote House

A lovely experience for myself and my friend. The setting had a lovely Christmassy feel and backdrop. The choices on the menu were good and the food beautifully presented. The service was just right we were not hurried and the staff were helpful.

Unfortunately there was an issue with their card reader & only accepting cash .... but all was OK after 6 of us pooled our money!

Lovely quiet place, great service, ladies were amazing no rushing us. Food was brilliant thank you. will definitely be returning for lunch some time. we had afternoon tea today.

Lovely staff and surroundings. Very peaceful setting. Afternoon tea was very lovely and my mum enjoyed her time there. She was 80 and candles were put in the cakes and a plate with a happy 80th Birthday decoration was presented. I had requested this but depends on who is in kitchen whether they can do it. We were very lucky.

This is a perfect setting for all events. Maybe more for people with older children. Very peaceful. Beautiful decor. Great service and lovely food. Only had the afternoon tea, but the quality was great xI am returning for a family meal in a couple of weeks
