Went here by chance but we were so pleased and amazed by the fantastic ambience, service and food. Will definitely go again and cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough - Grazie!

If you&rsquo;re in the mood for seafood, and we were, I can&rsquo;t imagine a restaurant in Bologna you&rsquo;d enjoy more.  The Selmi 22 appetizer is a great blend of the freshest crudo and some imaginative cooked dishes.  My companion and I both had excellent pastas as a main &mdash; hers was spaghetti in a white clam sauce and mine was strozzapreti (a short slightly twisted pasta, aka &ldquo;priest stranglers&rdquo;) with squid and asparagus.  Highly recommended.  The bread basket had an excellent assortment.  We asked for advice on the wine and had a very nice, and not at all expensive, Lambrusco rose, a selection we would not have imagined for ourselves.  The service was attentive and not at all intrusive.  I speak Italian, but my companion does not, and the wait staff was both patient with me and responsive to her.  A perfect evening.

If you are looking for very fresh seafood this far inland, this is a fine choice. The menu may include some specials depending on what is available. A strong wine list, especially for white wine. Pleasant atmosphere and congenial staff.

Before drinking coffee, the cafe owner recommended the restaurant. I was hesitant to go to which one (he recommended 3), and later found that the other two were closed on Sunday night, so I don&#39;t have to worry about it. - polentine con ragu: The corn paste is not dry at all, and some spicy meat sauce and burnt beans are poured. Our dinner became magic at this place. We have a chance to try different dishes which weee cooked just in 10 mins far from us) we have an opportunity to observe the cook and wink him from time to time. The wine card is excellent. Food is delicious. Overall experience was so good that we would like to come to Modena again one day. Thank you ❤️

Elevated Italian seafood, chef was spot on. Small, artisanal dishes with thought and process in mind. Best meal of the trip, don&rsquo;t miss it.

The food was very special. The menu presented many choices including vegetarian. We choice the classic and we weren&rsquo;t disappointed. The chef greeted us too and we were happy to discuss his special offerings. Farm to table as he makes his own balsamic vinegar and he has a single specialty farm for the meats. The piglet was amazing. Can&rsquo;t say enough except we look forward to our next visit and can&rsquo;t say enough positives in this review.
