La Pierre Blanche

We went without knowing about it. Our first impression wasn’t great: not sure how to park the car, not sure where the entrance was, surroundings not very appealing, and the waiter was grouchy because we were 3 instead of two! Then we sat down. The napkins are fabric, the table sets were a nice wooden board, nice cristal wine glasses, the waiter got a bit nicer, and the dishes on the menu were interesting. There was a vegetarian choice which is very unusual in a French restaurant. We each had a different meal and they were all delicious and original. The cook greeted us at the end. I would recommend and will go back.

We quite enjoyed our meal but it wasn’t anything special. We found it very expensive for the quality compared to lots of other restaurants we have visited. 100 euro for 2 people with a bottle of wine. We are sorry this wasn’t as good as we hoped.

Restaurant tried because it is near our holiday residence. Atmospheric and very quiet in the garden of the owners. Menu is changing by season and the dishes are excellent in terms of shape, but certainly in terms of taste.

One word suffices for this first experience: the excellence.And by concern of precision, for a reasonable cost in view of the quality of products and the work of a confection developed with care and refinement. The cook's visit at the end of the meal to her fellows... in all humility and simplicity!

Nice eating and fine atmosphere, cooking and service speak only French, menu adapted to what in the house, lactose free no problem, enjoy the evening
