The Boatshed Cafe and Bar

Great location overlooking the lake. The food was well presented and very tasty, service was excellent. The only drawback was the noise.Being a Saturday lunch on a beautiful sunny day there were several groups dining. But we would definitely go back.

I had booked table for six about 3 weeks ago and asked for a particular area outside. On arriving the young girl said that the supervisor had said we couldn’t have that particular area as we had six people and that our table was outside with an umbrella against the original building being renovated even though the area where I wanted (where I have been before in Sept with 9 others) was not filled. On seated where we were put no more than 5 minutes after we were asked whether we were ready to order. When we said no still looking at the menu after all still signing into Q2 the waitress seemed to walk away in disgust. My husband had to go and get her to come and take our order. I have been there numerous times with other friends and found this upsetting as have always enjoyed the food, setting and service.

There’s currently construction going at the moment. But, service & food surely surpasses all those. Jim made sure that we’ve been taken cared of. View of lake is very beautiful.

All sunny side up and poached eggs were incredibly over cooked. And the waffles tasted and seemed like they were woolies bought frozen waffles reheated. Sugar, salt and pepper was not offered or provided until we were able to get wait staffs attention (it was not busy enough for this to be overlooked) overall a bit of a disappointing experience for what is normally a great place to eat.

Lovely spot and usually very good service. We were seated and then not served until asked. In the meantime 2 other tables were seated and served before us. Meal was mixed up forgot my side order orTomatos and my friend got Turkish bread but asked for sourdough. All nice once served up but not timely. Felt like we were forgotten. Bieber food awesome and usually not an issue. Not busy either. So not sure what happened
