Narvik, a port city in northern Norway, is a 3-hour drive from Tromso, the city of Aurora. You can sometimes see the Aurora. Because of the warm North Atlantic current passing by, it is called an ice-free port. Driving from the highway, we climbed over the snow-capped mountains and crossed the bridge, and an elegant harbor city appeared in front of us. After checking into Scandic, the highest hotel here, you can also have dinner at the T&#39;tta Bar on the 16th floor. The window of the restaurant is a good place to enjoy the night view.
Norwegians have a very simple diet. There are not many food choices in this restaurant, only burgers, sandwiches, chicken wings, and grilled ribs. We ordered wine and staple food in front of the bar. While making drinks, the beautiful bartender explained that there were too many people and asked us to wait patiently. As expected, the catering service staff in Norway are far less efficient than us.
The chicken wings that came were grilled well, and the portion of grilled ribs was much smaller than what we had in Germany and Austria. They were all just dishes to go with wine, but the price was more expensive than our dinner, so we still ordered a glass of wine to enjoy it. The view is more cost-effective.

🚗Because I stayed here for an hour by train, I felt that the city was quite large, the scenery was very good, and there were also city snow trails. If you have enough time to travel to Norway, you can also consider staying for a day. It is a very quiet and beautiful place.

🎫Train tickets
Buy tickets on the vy app in advance, and the region needs to be switched to Sweden. I bought a 6-person hard sleeper, which is a bit like the hard sleeper in China but a little wider, about 2000sek. If you buy a hard seat alone, it seems to be just over 700sek. I went to see it and it feels quite spacious. ⚠️You can choose the upper, middle and lower berths in the men&#39;s and women&#39;s carriages when buying tickets, but you may not get them.

🚗The scenery is particularly good in the first half an hour after coming out, with snow-capped mountains and fjords along the way, on the left hand side of the train&#39;s direction. There are also many tunnels on the road. It took about 1 hour to enter Sweden, and the scenery afterwards felt relatively ordinary, basically there was no scenery to speak of. It&#39;s also quite strange that the scenery of two countries so close is still quite different hahaha.

🚗Get on the bus and other
1. Take bus No. 100 directly from Tromso to the vicinity of the train station, but not to the terminal, the bus station and the train station are not together.
2. Bus 100 arrives here at about 2:30, which is just enough time to shop or have a simple meal.
3. The departure time is 3:11. In fact, the train will not arrive until then, so you don&rsquo;t have to worry about checking in early. The ticket will be checked after you get on the train.
4. If this ticket is difficult to buy during holidays or peak seasons, be sure to buy it in advance.
5. This 6-person sleeper needs to make the bed by yourself, and each person has a set of sheets and quilt covers. The 6-person compartment has a door that is soundproof, and there is also a ladder that is quite convenient, but it should be below the seat.
