Komaru

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the efficient service, even on a busy night. This restaurant has truly improved and is now one of my favorites!

Mr Yip is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Sydney: tasty, fresh and healthy. We drive 30-40 minutes to eat here, and wouldn&#39;t think of going anywhere else. Don&#39;t be fooled by the fact that the majority of patrons are kwai-los. It&#39;s REALLY good authentic Cantonese food.

The butter chicken was absolutely delicious as was the garlic naan and house red! Portions were more than sufficient and thoroughly enjoyable. All the staff were very welcoming and pleasant, service was fast and efficient, tables were set nicely and restaurant was inviting. I had booked for an early dinner as was on the way home from an afternoon theatre performance so was the first person to arrive but, as I finished, I noticed that Thar was filling very quickly indeed and I left with the impression I had discovered a local gem! I&rsquo;ll definitely be back for another visit
