When I came here, my friend recommended this century-old hot dog shop on Coney Island, saying that it is a must-visit item. When asked how it tasted, my friend said: How delicious can hot dogs be? I instantly got the meaning of this shop, so I didn't expect too much. When I came out of the subway station, I saw that they have two addresses. One is a little far from the beach but the store is large, and the other is next to the Boardwalk. According to the reviews, everyone said that the hot dogs in the old store are better, but I was too lazy to walk, so I lined up to buy a wave at the one next to the trail. There were fewer seats nearby, so I sat on the edge of the beach. I didn't expect that after a gust of sea breeze, the hot dogs were also covered with sea sand. I chose Chili Cheese and Bacon Cheese flavors. I personally prefer hot dogs with bacon crumbs, which have a richer taste.

First of all, I want to say that the name of this store is quite domineering, the founder's name + Famous, how many stores dare to be so straightforward. The hot dog shop originated in Coney Island, so there is always a long line in front of the store, compared to other stores on the beach where there is no one in front of the store. I bought a plain hot dog, French fries and lemonade, and ketchup was self-serviced from the machine at the door, and you can sprinkle as much as you want. I was shocked by the size of the lemonade cup. The small cup is the size of the medium cup here, and so on, so buying a large cup is too big. The hot dog and French fries are good, but to be honest, the taste is similar to any food truck on the streets of Manhattan, and there is no big feature. High-calorie food is just right with sour and sweet ice lemonade, which is greasy, but I was really full after eating it all. By the way, this store holds a hot dog eating competition every National Day of the United States. I hope I will have the opportunity to watch it in the future.

Although the hot dogs sold at this hot dog shop look the same as those sold at gas stations, the ingredients at Nathan’s are much richer. The bread is soft, and the spicy bean sauce is stewed and has a unique flavor. I prefer the Chili Dog with cheese, which tastes better with a little milk flavor. There are also French fries with cheese, which are not crispy, but are actually more fragrant.

It is a famous shop, and there were a lot of people because of the event. We ordered the most famous hot dog, hot bread with beef sausage, onions, and various sauces. It tasted good. The large fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, plus a large drink (I forgot to take a photo), and I was so full, enough to resist the physical activities in the afternoon.

I wanted to order a simple chili hot dog at first, but I couldn't resist and ordered 5 spicy grilled chicken wings. The total cost was only about $10. They served the food very quickly, and I got my hot dog and grilled wings in no time. The hot dog skin was crispy and juicy, and the chili sauce was not too hot. The chicken wings were fully grilled, but the meat inside was still tender, and the barbecue sauce was very flavorful. It tasted like their traditional Buffalo sauce, which was delicious.
