I asked if the restaurant has completely alcohol-free beer, i.e. 0.0% That's what the waitress said so I ordered. But it was wrong 0.5 is not and does not taste like 0.0 Unfortunately..... I accepted the light beer that was served and enjoyed the lunch but still want to point out that completely alcohol-free beer tastes better!
Nice welcome when we arrived but unfortunately it took far too long before the order was taken and when we finally had something to drink it was well around 30 minutes since we arrived and were allowed to sit at the table. The food was 50/50, truffle fries did not taste truffle at all unfortunately but mostly parsley, the duck was not a wow experience but rather tasteless and cold (all 3 pieces) the prime rib burger was apparently good and the cod too. Desserts were good, we tried 4 different varieties in our group. Unfortunately we had the same experience last time we were there that it takes far too long before you are asked if you want something to drink!
A little too lively and loud among the tables.
Unfortunately, the food was not up to par, nor was the service. The char for 300kr was very small, the potatoes were forgotten and arrived late. The only vegan dish (grilled eggplant for 220kr) was completely tasteless and the accompanying tabbouleh was almost just a pile of bulgur - it felt like the vegan dish was on the menu just because they had to offer something to this clientele, but the preparation is completely lacking in finesse. Unfortunately, the staff was also not attentive, and when we wanted to pay only half the price for the vegan dish, they did not want to accept it. After a while of discussion, we finally got a good compensation. We hope that Åtellet will review its plant-based offering in the future. More love and the right seasoning are needed - vegan food can be very tasty!!
