Lovely food. Friendly service. The food presentation is very professional.  The sea food Tartiflette is to die for.  Portion sizes are very filling and generous.

Very expensive I bought 3 beers halves I might say of a nice beer but it was 15 pounds more expensive than London, how can you justify the price

The Belgian Monk is always a top spot for when you feel like having some amazing comfort food and an even more comforting array of Belgian beers. The staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming and provided a good service. Overall a pleasant experience for a lunch. 

Feel Like a Belgian Monk.

We had previously had a fantastic lunch here but alas this visit wasn&apos;t as successful. The food was disappointing with little flavour and reminded us of school dinners. However nice atmosphere and generally friendly staff. However on this visit service was poor.

Disappointing

Started disappointing and then got worse. As we were being seated we were told the food items we wanted (and others) were not available. Ok we thought, it’s the “Flight of beer” advertised on their web site that we were really interested in.     Their website says:    Flight of Beer: “We have selected some of Belgium’s best draught beers. 1/3rd of a pint samplings of six of our draught beers. Great for food pairings: £16.95 (May not be available during busy periods.)”     However the waitress wasn’t aware of this option and said it had never been available since she had worked there.     I asked the manager and showed him the website. He just said he had no control over the website. After some discussion, he did then offer to do the flight, but with just four beers rather than the six advertised.     There were hardly any customers, just us and another couple upstairs, and a few people downstairs.      It feels like the staff have given up on the place so perhaps it’s no surprise that customers have also. We went elsewhere.

They don&apos;t offer what they advertise on their website...and they don&apos;t really care.

Although it is a very ordinary dish, I think it is very delicious to taste in this restaurant. The speed of serving is very fast, and the price is also a super high restaurant.
