The Star&amp;Garter is a highly rated local restaurant. There is no need to make reservations as described in the reviews. I guess there are not many people in the town. The walls of the restaurant are covered with wedding photos of different eras and group photos of them when they were old, which makes people feel at ease and warm. The boss is very enthusiastic and actively recommends food to us, and it is delicious, too perfect. We also met the table opposite who was celebrating their birthday, so we also offered blessings from international tourists in due time~~

The blue cod is very tender and really delicious. We also ordered the grilled meat platter of the day, which completely satisfied all the ideas of people who like meat. The seafood chowder soup is very rich and the portion is large, highly recommended.

Go to roots collaboration for dinner and taste quite delicious food, a variety of amazing food, and a good selection of wines and beer. The waiting staff really knew what they were talking about, even had a chef talking to us about food, it was easy to see their enthusiasm for the food they created. Will be back in the near future!

The restaurant cooks fish that is always a great choice for you and you can&rsquo;t eat it anywhere else. The restaurant&rsquo;s grasp of the cuisine is not based on quantity, but on the best way to cook the fish. The price is high but it&rsquo;s worth the money!

Come here to try the Maori diet and experience their cooking methods. Put beef or tin-wrapped fish on a hot stone, and the traditional slate-burning keeps the ingredients authentic!

We bought a southern burger, which was big but not so good at the price, sounded good, but a pity failed. The chips and gold pieces tasted very burnt, no garlic mud mayonnaise or ketchup would cover the burnt flavor, the chips were not burnt to see, so it was only guessing that the oil had burned or something was in there.

One of the best takeaway meals we have ever had. Enjoyed huge burgers and delicious Chinese food. Great value for money. Niese and friendly service with a smile. Fast service too. Will come back again

We ordered a tasting plate and had a piece of cheesecake and loved it. The cheese was delicious and we found it in various supermarkets during our trip. The cheese was moderately priced. Worth a stop.
