Nice lunch, good price, nice view of the river, staff attentive and pleasant, will re-visit at some point in the future. Would recommend for sure

The food was exceptional and the waiter was lovely. There was plenty of room and it was ideally situated for guests staying at the tickled trout.

Lovely restaurant overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Food was great, good portion size and very tasty! Would certainly stay/eat here again.

The staff were lovely. Everyone who we spoke to, including the reception staff were very pleasant and genuinely seemed happy to see us. The food was nice, however the sweets seemed to out weigh the rest. Sandwiches were nice but it would have been nice to maybe have some sausage rolls etc too? We took most of the cakes home with us. I will say though, being a 4 star restaurant and hotel, there were a lot of dead flies around the window ledges on the inside, with other massive flies trying to get out from the inside. We at riverside in one of the booths which was a lovely view but the amount of dead insects was a bit off putting. We also wanted to sit outside on the patio area but the seating was covered in dried bird droppings, but I can see how this would be difficult to avoid. With that being said, I’d re visit as it was overall a lovely experience. It was my friends first time coming with me (I have been before) and she loved it. Thank you
