End of the season here, few people in the restaurant but excellent service and good food. The cheese sampler plate is superb
Gorgeous view and great service. I ordered the swordfish paccheri but there must have been shellfish in the dish (to which I am allergic) and I had an immediate, violent reaction to the food. They didn’t even take it off the bill, but I was too weak from being sick to dispute it. They should improve their internal procedures to ensure shellfish isn’t in dishes that shouldn’t have it.
It was meant to be a special occasion so we dressed up, left early and drove to the venue for our midday lunch. We were going to have a good time and probably spend more than we should. Drove through the gates and parked in the grounds. Went to the restaurant and told them we had a reservation. We were told to visit the hotel Reception? Went to Reception and were advised that it would cost us €60 to park our car! We were advised that we could use their beach and pool and other facilities. We told them we just wanted a lunch and we were not dressed for the beach. We would only be there two hours at most. So after much deliberation they then advised that to park our car would only be €40. We left disgusted at being charged an exorbitant amount for parking. It would have been reasonable to charge around €15 as they would have made it all back from the lunch and drinks. Silly apathetic service from management.
A beautiful restaurant on the sea with views of the Grotticelle Bay and the Eolie Islands, if they are so, welcomed by Francesco that despite the young age (19) shows competence and empathy with the client. Excellent spaghetti with pepper oil and red garlic of Mazara squawed. Excellent also the scialatiels coast of the gods too We have been for two consecutive nights
As I had already been there last year but without making any review, I promised to come back. As expectations ....the excellent food ... accompanied by a very pleasant service and the atmosphere of the sea that is very pleasant.
