josejoChinese food is always the best:D I can't resist the temptation of Chinese food when I come out for exchange! I came to Rome to play and found this restaurant, so I went in with the mentality of giving it a try! I remember that I also tried Sichuan cuisine in Amsterdam but I thought it was just so-so! This one is really amazing! It's delicious!! The taste of the pickled pepper beef and dry pot shrimps are very popular with me, and there is also my favorite coconut milk of Coco Tree!! (However, my friend and I think the amount of beef is a little less~ but the amount of dry pot shrimps is very large) Because there are only two of us, we can't try more dishes! I will go again next time if I have the chance! The boss lady is very enthusiastic! Recommended!
The staff was very enthusiastic. Seeing that I was alone, they kept chatting with me. They were very attentive when taking my order and paying the bill. The food was also delicious. They also gave me a fruit plate. I ate a lot by myself.
This is the best Sichuan restaurant in Rome. As a Chengdu native, I can say it's the most authentic Sichuan food I've ever had, and the prices are much cheaper than many other places. The hostess is very beautiful and welcoming! The service is also very attentive and excellent! Five stars without a doubt.
We ordered three dishes, all a bit spicy, and they were delicious! Highly recommend! The restaurant is super nice.
It tastes authentic, and it's so spicy it made my nose and eyes water.
A Chinese Stomach's Redemption in Rome I went to Rome this November with friends. Afterwards, my friends asked me about the food in Rome. I realized I had actually recommended a Chinese restaurant. It felt like going to Guangzhou but eating a Shandong-style multigrain pancake (ps: not all Shandong people eat pancakes as a staple food). Anyway, this Chinese restaurant was great. Lao Chengdu Sichuan Cuisine. A Sichuan restaurant opened in Rome by a Sichuan girl. The owner was absolutely gorgeous, the kind of beauty typical of Sichuan girls—radiant and with a wonderfully sweet voice. We all suffered from severe culture shock in Rome. We couldn't eat pizza at all. Our faces were practically breaking out in pimples. In the end, we survived thanks to Chinese food. When the tofu, boiled pork slices, and spicy blood curd were served, we were all incredibly excited. The restaurant is located near the central train station. To cater to tastes from all over China, the owner didn't use a lot of chili peppers when cooking. If you have a strong preference for Sichuan cuisine and can tolerate spiciness very well, be sure to tell the owner to cook it according to Sichuan standards. That's what we did. We were incredibly satisfied with the meal. (Picture above)
