Cafe Coyote

Stopped here on our visit to Old Town San Diego on the Old Town Trolley Tour. It's a little pricey, but the portions are generous...the tequila marinated shrimp and the Colorado chili were amazing. They make their own flour tortillas here, as do many restaurants in the area...they are definitely worth a try!

I came to Coyote Cafe because of its reputation, but it didn't open until the evening. Only the Canina on the upstairs terrace was open. Standing in the fence and looking across, it felt like going back to ancient times. A popular Mexican restaurant, strange that foreigners also like to rush in, with a huge crowd and long queues.
