A wonderful culinary experience! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The lobster salad was scrumptious and the turbot for two was a unique and tasty entree. The wine list was extensive and had many choices at various price points. A neat dining experience in Old Town San Sebastián!
We had a lovely lunch at Casa Urola with friends. We shared 5 starters and then had a turbot and white shrimps for main. All delicious!
Great menu (mixture of local seafood, meats and pimentos pintxos specialties. Nice restaurant in a good location of the old town. Service excellent
Casa Urola is a famous spot in the old section of San Sebastián just a few steps away from Plaza de La Constitución.When you walk in you’re overwhelmed by the crowd of people trying to get pintxos at the bar. But then you see stairs leading upstairs and that’s where the main dining room is.Upstairs there’s a simple room with 10-12 tables. We had reserved a table for two at 8:15 (this being Spain that’s about as early as it gets for dinner) and we were the first table to be seated.The food was excellent and interesting. I had the beef and my hubby had the fish. We had seasonal appetizers (lobster salad and roasted vegetables).Dessert was the cheese plate, French toast and Mille feuille).Overall it was a lovely evening!
