Best place we’ve eaten in Madeira so far!!Very authentic place!We were the only clients in the restaurant which was a bit weird but the food was extraordinary. We ordered 2 different slow cooked meat plates and both were so good!Would highly recommend!

We haven't been back for 18 months, but the food is still as good as it ever was. Looking forward to returning to Santina soon and having another great meal

We had our last meal in Madeira here and we were very pleasantly surprised by the different choices of food we had. We were a bit done with the “regular” choices and here we got to taste a really nice starter platter with lots of different nibbles, from silky soft braised pork, to chicken livers and a tuna spread. Then for our main we had rabbit and chicken and it came in individual stewing pots. The portions were really big, we couldn’t finish them! The waitress was really nice to us and also they had a nice variety of desserts. Would recommend!

Wonderful small restaurant on the Road to Queimadas with countryside local dishes which are delicious. It is definitely worth a visit.

Second visit in a month or so! Took friends, who couldn´t believe how good everything was...smiles on their faces all night! Manuel is a fantastic host and the food is just amazing. Go to this charming gem of a restaurant!
