What travelers say:
We had the 45 euro menu. Mostly excellent but the steak was badly overcooked. Told the waiter and wine server but we were never acknowledged by chef or anyone in authority. Setting and service were excellent.

Second time for dinner there. The "Ananás com morcela" has been fantastic. The "Peixe dos açores com açorda e feijão verde" has been very good. The "Arroz de polvo" has not been as good as the last time. it tasted too much like vegetable stock and not like fish stock. The bread selection has not been freshly baked like the last time.Still a recommendation to try out.
This restaurant is located in a hotel with a very nice atmosphere. We had two rice dishes where the Pulpo rice dish had a fantastic taste. The fresh baked rolls have been the best we've tasted so far here on the Acores.Service has been pleasant but sometimes they have forgotten little things like bringing the ordered water but nothing to complain about. We would recommend to try it out.
We did the tasting menu and was not disappointed, the portions where good and tasty, the staff are excellent in there service too.
The food and service is high quality. I really appreciated that the servers spoke both Portuguese and English. They had lots of options for vegetarians and some for vegans.
