Casa Vela Wine Bar

Recommend. I had a very enjoyable lunch at Casa Vela. Varied menu to suit all tastes and the quality of the food and wine was excellent. Great location and ambience. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Very nice locality in Scilla. Personal was very kind and speaking English which is not ussual in Italy. Food and wine were delicious. Highly recommended!

The restaurant stays hidden along the narrow pathway on the right side of the castle. The Calabrian white wine is super good. The service is a bit slow but the waitress is lovely. Scamorza cheese with nduja is amazing. Highly recommended :)

Wonderful place, very friendly atmosphere, in the wonderful village of Chianalea. The owner Ciccio is very kind and helpful, excellent connoisseur of wines and local products as well as of the territory so as to provide many ideas for an original tourist tour in the surrounding area. Very good focaccias, soups, stockfish alla ghiotta and passito with piparelli as dessert in addition to the delicious pizzo truffle. Highly recommended place and experience.

Small place in Chianalea di Scilla, attentive and fast service, wide choice of piadinas, platters, arancini & co. All very well made and tasty. I recommend it
