A charming, traditional feel makes Le Dauphin a memorable place to eat. The food is interesting, with Normandy flavours, and very nicely cooked and presented. Service was friendly and attentive.

My wife and I have been in France for about 10 days and have not had a better dinner than we had at Le Gourmand. The dining room is quite charming. The hostess also served as server and did it all seamlessly. She is also the wife of the chef who came out at the end of the evening to break bread friends. The food was quite perfect, from the three complementary dishes served as amuses bouche to the perfectly cooked and served main courses. We have eaten French food for years and in many parts of France and elsewhere but have rarely had so perfect a meal.
Really enjoyed our lunch here. Highly recommend it. While we were the only table as arrived on bank holiday the amuse bouche and little extras, fresh bread and beautiful meals were not simplified or skimped on in any way. Good coffee too. Would go back.
A good address for all who enjoy french food as it used to be before burgers and pizzas took over. Very good wine in the half bottle reasonably priced and a nice touch of a trou normand and amuse buches at the start and before the dessert. Nice tables outside in a quiet corner in summer weather but the main restaurant is well appointed. For anyone coming to Sees wanting good wholesome food not pre packed and industrial this is the restaurant to head too.
