As always food very good, staff very attentive with a lovely smile. Furnishing so much nicer since the refurbishment. well worth it.
We hadn't been to the White Hart for sometime and I am pleased to say it was better than I remembered. The pub has the tradition and the history as being the favoured 'watering hole' of the 'few' based at Biggin Hill. It has a nice ambiance and a spacious eating area with little alcove eating areas. The food was excellent and the menu imaginative. We will definitely return!
The food and service were extremely good although the timings from the kitchen were disjointed and food arrived at different times. Examples are two children’s meals were asked to be brought out with starters only one arrived and we had to ask for the second one which arrived late. The main course was served and a side of halloumi was missing and again we had to ask for them. The missing child’s meal was delivered a second time although no longer required. The dessert course arrived without the two children’s order of ice cream and were advised that they had to defrost it.The server was very good at apologising and chasing up the kitchen which is where the problem seemed to be.Overall the quality of their food was very good it was just the delays that were disappointing.
We have been to the White Hart a number of times now and we have never been disappointed. The ambience, the food, the drink, the staff have always been excellent which is why we will be back.
Love this pub , excellent food and serviceThey need to make more of its history though - there should be a proper history of its connection with the Battle of Britain at the entrance as there used to be
