In the hinterland of Sahari, 700 kilometers from Cairo, there is a legendary desert oasis - Siwa. This is the birthplace of Assassin&#39;s Creed story, where Cleopatra once bathed, and the glorious myth of the dilapidated muddy ancient city all stays here. Just arrived in Siwa, we did not book accommodation in advance, but with the locals came to the foot of the ancient city of Shali, to find a century-old earth house converted from the ancient city site - Adr&egrave;re Amellal. This is an eco-hotel in the Sahara desert, relying on buildings left by the ancients, beds and rooms made of palm trees, exuding a chic fragrance; walls made of mud and salt crystals, occasionally dropping a little dust. There is no roof in the living room. When you go out at night, you will see the stars of the ancient city. The restaurant on the second floor does not have a glass window. It is all a natural frame built up with soil and tree trunks. No matter which angle you look out, you can see the lush palm trees on the street. I asked the boss: there is no roof and glass window house, are you not afraid of rain? The boss smiled and said: Siwa will only rain a few times a year, every few minutes, before the window rain stops, we also hope that God can rain a little more~
