Ok, not the greatest location as it sits next to a major roundabout but the owners have clearly taken care to make you feel welcome and create an intimate ambiance. Welcome and overall service was great, with the lady owner even coming to each table to check that everything was OK. Food was really good and incredibly cheap considering the quality. My wife and I both had calamari on rice, which was creamy, cooked to perfection and with just the right amount of spice. Tarte Tatin for dessert: beautiful! The lady waiter also really looked after us. In short, I&rsquo;d strongly recommend! We even made it our destination for the day.

I was happy to bring my mom at my favorite Cr&ecirc;pes place where I discovered they also have    Special of the Day which can not be based on Cr&ecirc;pes and that is a great addition to visit them in group and be sure to have choices to please everyone.

Nigiri sushi plate was great.  Fairly priced, too.Chirashi sushi - tuna &amp; salmon was also good.Desserts were a great disappointment.  Green-tea cheesecake seemed pre-made somewhere else ...and long ago.Disappointed they only sell white wine by the full bottle.  If you want a glass only, forget it.  How difficult would it be to keep one bottle open with which to pour single glasses for customers who desire such?

What an incredible find! I had stupidly booked the wrong night elsewhere and we found Le Comptoir late. A charming location in the delightful Sanary-sur-Mer but the food! My goodness! It was exquisite, imaginative and expertly presented. Flavours were ideally balanced and the poisson du moment was a triumph. The menu is tight and well-constructed and I can only imagine that you can&#39;t get a table in August. We sat outside in the pretty square and were expertly served by the most fabulous young people. Special mention of the young man and young woman who served us: both were engaging, amusing, expert and encouraged us to speak French in a non-patronising way. The chef is a genius. Go!
