Proeflokaal Sneek

The food was superb and the staff were super friendly and helpful - great experience for our Canadian/Scottish group! Will definitely visit again.

Food was ok, service was average. You need to bring a lot of time with you to eat here. There is a set menu, where you can order two tapas at a time per person. Unfortunately there was only one person collecting the orders which resulted in a lot of waiting time. The food was good, nothing spectacular.

Menu in english would have been highly appreciated

Indicated in advance that we would like to sit downstairs and together with a group of 14 because of the disabled toilet and that someone was with us who could not chew well due to circumstances. This was taken into account very well. Especially the adapted food for 1 person was fine. The service of the staff was also very nice and of course the food was also delicious. So a big compliment to the ladies and gentlemen of the Proeflokaal, we will definitely come back.

We were with a larger group and were offered a tasting menu. Good contact via email about possible (dietary) wishes. We all had a delicious meal! Location is beautifully central in Sneek, beautiful building inside, cozy atmosphere and nice staff. Highly recommended!
