Sofia Central Market opened in 1911. It is a neo-Renaissance style, integrating neo-Byzantine and neo-Baroque architectural elements. Bread, cakes, nuts and candies are sold on the first floor of the market, while clothes, accessories and jewelry are sold on the upper floor; fast food restaurants and some ancient relics are located underground. Can you imagine that a building with such a beautiful arch is actually Sofia&#39;s Central Market? The whole building looks more like an art gallery.
