The staff work very hard &amp; always eager to please.  Service is amazing. Food is served hot &amp; delicious. My partner &amp; I enjoy our visits every time. Thank you.

We arrived at the Shorehouse and were greeted by Glynn, who showed us our table. He attended all our needs. Explaining about the salad bar and drinks. We ordered our meals which arrived nice and hot well prepared and extremely tasteful. I will be going back as it was an excellent lunch no rushing,allowed to relax and enjoy your food.

Service was impeccable. Perfectly timed to ask if I needed more olive oil for my salad. Never left waiting at the salad bar, always happy to help and the staff just made it the perfect experience. Food lovely, chips the best Iv had in a long time. Made our day

We had a good night and food was excellent but more than that our waitress Chelsea was fun chatty and genuine . She made our night even better

The restaurant was extremely understaffed. They worked soo hard, it was unbelievable.I hope they were both given a bonus. So saying , ,my meal was the hottest it has ever been.So perhaps they should  try and keep the numbers down slightly to improve the service and quality of the food

It was my Grandson&#39;s First Birthday - we had been eating sausage Rolls and sandwiches all day but by the evening needed a proper meal !! We read reviews and it sounded good so we gave it a try. We are not local so it was our first time. We have been to various carveries before but I have to say your food was the best I had eaten at this type of Restaurant. All the meat was tender and moist and the roast potatoes in beef fat were the best ever. In fact all the vegetables were lovely. we agreed that on our next visit to Southend we would take my daughter, her husband and our Grandson for a treat. The atmosphere was cosy and the staff were all friendly and helpful.In particular our waitress Mandy was really friendly and funny. It really made a difference to our visit. we will recommend and be back next time we are in the area.

The young lady who served us was very helpful and friendly,  the food was delicious,  the only downfall was the tables were left with dirty plates and surroundings but that may have been due to staff shortages but on the whole a lovely meal

The food was delicious and the staff provided great service. We were not keen on the new sections where we were sat. It is too high and you feel too shut off from the rest of the restaurant.

A gem hidden in plain sight!  The cosy atmosphere and gentle buzz as the lunctime service grew. Clearly there were many regular customers making for a friendly atmosphere. We ordered Cozze marinara and and a prawn and avocado salad. Both genreous and excellent. Our pasta mains were cooked to perfection (again, generous proportions. Staff were atentive and we did not feel rushed. Very good house rose Pino Grigio. Heartally recommend this well-established and authentic restaurant.
