Friendly service given by happy smiling efficient attentive waitress. Food was plentiful and hot, collected at carvery and puddings delivered speedily later on. Overall very pleasant experience for our Christmas treat. Recommended.

The wide range of veg was outstanding to get the best choice a larger plate would be required the bar variety was very good as was the service

We all really enjoyed the food - wish I could cook turkey like what we had !! It was a delicious roast would definitely return as best roast in Chelmsford

We had a nice carvery, having selection of varied vegetables  and potatoes.meat was great, not to sure on the waitress service, but was ok in all.

Love the food, staff friendly and helpful. Got to love a Toby, great roast.

Fantastic service. Bookings from the fork had not been received (not just ours) but the staff managed to rearrange and find us a table despite being a very busy evening with the 50% off ending and being a bank holiday. Covid precautions all in place, with screens at reception, hand sanitiser always near by, and staff were wearing masks, so felt safe the whole time. Our waitress was great, really friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious too. Will definitely be back soon.
