The Peacock

A wonderful pub restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff were very sincere and helpful. It was definitely service with smiles. The food was excellent and hot! The sirloin steak was cooked as requested and is certainly recommended. The real ale was well kept and tasted superb. We will be back.

What a lovely evening we had. We are a group of bereaved ladies and call our little group the forget-me-nots... the staff were aware and looked after us so beautifully. From our table which was tucked away right through to the superb and respectful and friendly attentiveness with the service. The food and perfect too! Thank you, I'm sure we'll return for many more little meetings. ❤️

I was made very comfortable by the staff, which is important for a disabled person. As a family we ate at the Peacock a number of times during our short stay in the area.The food was very good quality at a reasonable price and the service was first class.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service at The Peacock. We stayed at the attached Premier Inn whilst visiting family, Bar staff for evening drinks were really kind and welcoming, Sunday lunch service was excellent and the food was delicious. I would visit again!

My bill was incorrect, however when it was pointed out it was corrected straight away. Lovely waiting staff, great food. Not too busy and felt very safe.
