The Locavore

This restaurant is really great. Someone recommended it to me before I traveled. The environment is really good and not crowded. The food is great. I like the taste of the food very much. It is unforgettable.

We were looking for a warm place to eat lunch when visiting the Adelaide Hills. Locavore fit the bill for sure. Lovely slow combustion log fire roaring when we entered. We were greeted warmly by staff. Good wine list and menu. We had the gnocchi and the pork belly - no need for an entree - Very filling! Delicious and well presented. There is a second level perfect for a small group of people.One thing to be aware when booking is that the toilet is upstairs so if mobility issues may need to rethink. It didnt worry us. However there may be a public toilet in the Tiers shopping centre that offers disability facilities. May be worth checking with management first. Otherwise would highly recommend.

We all enjoyed the food that we ordered, tasty and well presented. Service was great and the place had a lovely open design with great accoustics - we could actually easily hear each other without friendly feel.

One of the best restaurants in The Adelaide Hills, and we have tried them all !~ Interesting and varied menu , cooked with imagination and care. The steak is the best we've ever had.The staff are very attentive, polite, noticing small details that are important to a pleasant evening out.Good wines, and usually not noisy, which is important to us. The combustion stove adds to a cosy atmosphere in winter.Can absolutely recommend LocaVore to all who want value for money.

Always look forward to dinner in Stirling. After a gap of sometime Lovacore did not disappoint. Delicious main courses specials, barramundi & beef, attentive service and a suitable wine list. Our group found all main courses exceeded expectations. Look forward to our next delightful dining experience here!
