we were served by a person that really cared about service and interaction with the customer, nothing was too much trouble The food was off a new menu and was excellent.

The service, attention to details and setting was superb The choice of cakes and the extra fresh scones were first class Unfortunately the sandwiches let the party down with some with dried edges

Excellent service and made a real effort for a birthday. Food was lovely and staff were helpful and accommodating. Overall a very lovely experience and would recommend greatly for a special occasion for two

Having eaten here on the previous evening and the service was really good we were very displeased with the service tonight. when we dined there were 2 other diners,and were informed that the staff were also covering a function In a another part of the Hotel. After 1and a quarter hours we had only been served 1 part of the meal and only when chased did our dessert appear. Very dissatisfied

Unfortunately I left extremely disappointed with this visit. We were sat in the lobby (which is where the tables are, it seems…odd). Our afternoon tea came out and the sandwiches had clearly been sat out on the side all morning. The bread was extremely crusty and stale. The cakes were all pre packaged and not very nice. No one mentioned it to staff at the time as we were there celebrating a friend and didn’t want to ruin anything, however we all agreed at the end how bad the food was! The staff were lovely, though.
