Buca Osteria & Enoteca

Buca is Italian for "hole". The Buca sign on King Street is very small, with only a ball of fiery red to seduce in the night. Italian restaurant. Closed on Sundays and Mondays, open from 5pm to 11pm on other days.

I may be too tired recently, so I always have no appetite. I had yesterday's ginseng chicken soup in the morning, but I didn't have lunch. I bought meatballs and bucatini carbonara for dinner. It took less than 20 minutes to eat, so the photos today are really ugly. But it was so delicious that my mom almost cried [poor][poor][poor] Although I am lactose intolerant, I love creamy and cheesy things

The food at this restaurant recommended by a friend is quite exquisite. What I mean by exquisite is that the small portions are presented beautifully, and the dishes are generally creative. They are said to be Italian style, but with a lot of new ideas added.

My husband and I visited Toronto and were able to dine out on our own, without the kids. A good friend recommended Bucca and we are so glad we went. We almost didn't go because our earliest reservation was at 9pm, but it happened that we were going to Belfast Love Drinks first and the timing worked out perfectly. Bucca's Italian food is great - we started with garlic bread knots (which were delicious) and then shared a pizza and a gnocchi dish. The pizza crust was thin, crispy and light. How do they do that? Goccchi is full of herbs in the center. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was good but you were in no way in front of them the whole time. It would be a great place for a date night.

It's a very meticulous and sophisticated restaurant, more in line with the positioning of having a grand meal. Even the water poured by the waiter is pure natural spring water. The service is also very considerate. It's not the kind of restaurant that rips off customers the more they order. We ordered a little too much and the waiter reminded us that we wouldn't be able to finish it.
