Le Tonneau

We were visiting Troyes in France, and were looking for a place to eat. We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to eat here. It is a small restaurant with a nice ambiance. The host was very friendly and the service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend anyone who is into French food and great wine. The host speaks English as well, so that was great for tourists like us.

Food was excellent and modern French really was superb. Service was attentive and engaging with “cannot go wrong” wine list. Lovely meal out.

A fantastic find. French cuisine of the finest standard, perfect ambience and very helpful and attentive staff. One of the best meals of this last trip, on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime. Very highly recommended.

Casual, hospitable. Away from the tourist heart of Troyes, but only a few minutes walk. Very good food, interesting wine list. We enjoyed it a lot. Thank you!

This was our first meal in Troyes and it was amazing. Lovely service, beautiful restaurant design and great food. The ambience was intimate as it is small and personal We especially enjoyed the scallop and Jerusalem artichoke starter. And the salmon with sweet potatoes. Presentation pretty. We only gave three days in Troyes but may return.
