Glad I ate here. The quality of service and food was excellent. The price was reasonable too. There was a large chandelier in the middle of the restaurant, very rustic. Impressive. Our waiter was very helpful and recommended some local specialties, including horses! Yes, horse. Oh, my God, this pasta is amazing. It's a great job.

We didn't book when we first came to this restaurant but it was quick to get in. All of these seats were reserved so we had to finish our meal in two hours. But the staff treated us equally. They were excellent and gave us plenty of care, one guess is they might treat us as locals. The food was delicious, the seats were comfortable and the homemade wine was great. So impressed, we booked here for the second and third nights later. Why go elsewhere? You can meet all the needs from the store on the doorstep. Under the supervision of the hotel host, every time you come here there are first class staff who are skilled at your service, the host has concentrated all of his interest on his dinner. This has made our stay in the city complete.
In reading other reviews on The Fork, the only negatives noted were about noise from small children and ‘rushed’ service. Shortly after we arrived for dinner, the restaurant was completely full, all adults and half appeared to be locals. It was typically loud because of the low curved ceilings but not so much that it disturbed the conversation at our table. The Waitstaff were all young, bilingual women who were welcoming, attentive, efficient and fast in a tag-team sort of way. Many customers seemed quite content with the fast delivery of each course. We, on the other hand, wanted a leisurely pace, especially as we had ordered two bottles of wine to enjoy over three courses. We informed the ladies of that and they were entirely understanding and accommodating. The food was terrific, as was the wine, and we all enjoyed the ambiance.
Small but very cosy restaurant with exzellent food and wine, friendly and customer oriented service, a great example of hospitality in a beautiful environment. We will be happy to enjoy this place again.
Excellent service and food. Would love to come back.Note that I said $70 per person but that included a bottle of wine and an after dinner grappa. I thought it was very reasonable in price
