Osteria Il Bertoldo

This restaurant is a perfect place to have an authentic meal from the Veneto region in a very touristy city. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

So happy with our choice of restaurant. The staff made it extra special for my boyfriend's birthday and the food was fantastic!

Anita was terrific. She was so attentive to us. We are learning to speak Italian and she took the time to help us along as we tried to speak it. The food was outstanding and the restaurant is adorable. Yes, we would make this our go to place if we lived in Verona.

This Osteria is located just a little bit off the tourist route in Verona but well worth the extra few steps. The decor is warm and cozy, the food authentic and delicious and the service is polite and very attentive. This eatery is definitely not a tourist spot but a place where locals eat.

We selected Osteria il Bertoldo from a list in The Fork. Everything about the experience was fabulous. Our waiter made great menu and wine recommendations. We had a Lugana, very nice, with a meat and cheese plate, and my baccala tortelloni was super. The dining room was very comfortable; it is small, so best to make a reservation. This was one of the best meals we have ever had. Highly recommended.
