Great food, really affordable compared to Lisbon. Waiter was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our experience. We were there on Sunday dinner, there was only one other table and they left shorty around 8.30, restaurant opened at 8pm, so we were the only customers

Our last night was is Portugal, after a very active few days. All we wanted: lots of nice food and perfect wine experience. We have got both alongside with nice service. Definitely can recommend the place. Beautiful decoration, good portions and tasty food, great wines etc

In a nice atmosphere which you’d never tell if you see the restaurant from before, this place has really kind staff and a very good menu. I chose local cheese as a starter, posta transmontana (beef with new potatoes and vegetables) as a main course and the delicious dessert called ninho douro. Cheap bill for great food. It’s worth one more day in Vila Real.

It was an amazing experience. The food was incredible, the waiters were really nice. We ate really well and the quantity compare to the price is unique.This is the best restaurant we did during our stay. It deserves more acknowledgments. The only thing that is different from France will be the meal for 2 people. But they kindly say we can order for one person. And thank you very much for the tawny Porto. Quantity and quality !

An unexpected find that had amazing food and wine, along with a wonderful atmosphere. The service and recommendations from staff were excellent! A bonus was the Tuna Fado singers on Sunday evening.
