We spent the weekend in York and ate twice at the Malmaison bar and grill. Both occasions were perfect, great customer service and great food, just what we wanted

The Fat Badger York (FKA Lamb & Lion)

Betty&#39;s Tea Room&#39;s most famous classic nut scones, served with homemade jam and cream, are soft and delicious, leaving a lingering aftertaste. However, the macarons and chocolate cakes are a bit too greasy to accept.

Near the York Cathedral, there is a very famous coffee shop called Bennett&#39;s Cafe &amp; Bistro. Their desserts and cafe are also very good.
