we go every few weeks. The last twice i ordered a hunters gammon and turkey ciabatta with roast potatoes. when the first meal was delivered , those who were having the carvery went to get their meals. my meal did not arrive and i asked the waitress about it and was told there was a backlog in the kitchen. the others had finished their meals before mine came. this happened the last time too. not good enough. we have decided to go to somewhere else next time. The food was good, but wait unacceptable

This is called Swanston Brasserie, a bar that is especially popular with young trendy people. The environment is indeed very modern. There is a full-sided wine cabinet on the edge of the bar.

This is a cafe and western restaurant located on Gilmerton Road, Edinburgh, and is a restaurant affiliated with Liberton Golf Club. The scenery is beautiful, sitting outside the restaurant drinking coffee or eating, looking at the green space and blue sky is very comfortable. The coffee here is pure and the snacks are delicious.

Food was okay and suitable for a simple Sunday roast dinner. Sort of place for a basic family meal at good value.

The main issue was the service, 2 of the party didn&#39;t have the carvery and had a long wait for our food. One took 30 minutes, I had to ask twice for my meal and i got it after waiting 50 minutes, but everyone at the table had finished eating their meals before mine arrived.. I had Hunters ham and Turkey ciabatta sandwich and roast potatoes, so it shouldn&#39;t have taken 50 minutes.  It was good when it came.The waitress appeared to be working hard and she was friendly and trying her best.  There was no cream for deserts ( kitchen had run out).

Yorkie wraps are always on the menu but they never have them. We were told this was because of staff shortages. Profitta rolls are no longer on the menu. We like it when there are special offers on.

Food was good but was  not as hot as we would prefer. This is the downside of buffet-style dining.Good service with helpful staff and very reasonably priced.
