The Woodsman Restaurant

My wife and I were exceptionally I pressed with this restaurant. Food was amazing (we were so pleased we got the exact same thing two nights in a row) and the service was exceptional. We’re sad we may not have the opportunity to eat here again (we’re here in holiday). Highly recommend this place for both breakfast and dinner.

We booked for before going to the theatre and were very clear about our limited time and this was confirmed at various stages by staff who advised on timings … unfortunately this info did not appear to reach the kitchen so we were a bit anxious about not having received our main courses at 7 pm and had to bolt our food - that said it was fabulous food which we all enjoyed

An absolute gem! Just beautiful all round! Food, service, ambiance 10/10 plus. A wonderful afternoon for my husbands birthday celebration. How lucky we are to have this gorgeous restaurant on our doorstep. We’ll certainly be returning.

The aroma from the wood fired kitchen was wonderful, the setting very relaxing and the food was excellent - beautifully presented and served.

We found this restaurant on the Michelins Guide app, and it didn’t disappoint. On the contrary, the food and service was beyond our expectations. And you get to see the chef prepare the mains in the midst of the diners. It’s definitely one not to miss. We’re already looking forward to going back.
