We had a really nice time at this good value, freindly restaurant. So much so that even though we were only in Madera for a week we went back a second time!

I highly recommend Tapas Y Copas, there are a couple of floors with a slightly different ambiance and we were able to pick our table. Service was quick with our drinks order and the food came quickly, cooked to order, fresh, piping hot and the portions generous, full of flavour and had creative twists on familiar tapas recipes. The service was second to none, friendly attentive but not overbearing. The prices were reasonable too. I would definitely go again.

Excellent as always. The food is tasty and beautifully presented. Service is professional. Concept menu is great value, with good quality wine included in the price.

Delicious dishes and large portions! Freshly squeezed orange juice was a lovely addition. Service was a little slow (however it was Christmas Day) but staff were very kind and helpful regardless.

We enjoyed our 45th anniversary at O-Chefe Restaurant.  The appetizer we chose was shrimp and garlic bread and paired with a Douro region Touriga (red) wine, which was wonderful.  We had one steak on the stone (cooks on a heated stone at your table) and one tuna on the stone.  Both came with potato and vegetable, and were delicious.  We even seared some of the veggies on the stones.  The tuna was a special, and not always available.  For dessert we shared a crepe with orange juice, Grand Marnier, and chocolate sauce.  The meal was outstanding, and our patio table offered a wonderful ocean view.  Service was impecable!  Highly recommended.

What a great experience cooking your own steak on the hot stone, we loved it and the owner is a great guy. Good food and great service, we will be returning.

Catalogue of problems with dinner for us and fellow diners. Partner&#39;s lamb chops were inedible and had to be replaced by chicken but involved 15 minute wait. Starters unimaginative and plain. Desserts and wine were good. Hotel reception staff not welcoming and even tried to accuse us of not paying. Restaurant doors locked to diners &quot;for security&quot; with no need as you have to navigate through the hotel to get there. Not on our list for a return visit.

This was our first visit, and we loved every aspect of it. We received a warm welcome from Franco and were shown to a beautifully set table in the nicely arranged restaurant. Service was good without being too speedy, and the staff were friendly yet professional.My wife and I both had grilled sea bass, which was superb, accompanied by the house Sauvignon Blanc, which was excellentFranco&#39;s Corner has now joined our &#39;must visit&#39; list for our Madeira holidays.

Outdoor seating was comfortable, the menu selection gave plenty of options, the food was presented well and tasted delicious.

We really enjoyed our meal at Franco&rsquo;s. The food was very good and fairly priced. We had prawns to start which were served in a delicious garlic butter sauce and seafood linguine and Seabass for our mains, both of which were excellent. You can tell they really care about food. Highly recommend.

Really lovely food, the salmon and the prawn starters were excellent.  The duck a l&#39; orange was superb, as was the sea bass.  The panacotta had a beautiful fruit topping, the price was reasonable for the quality.
