The Huaqing Palace on the outskirts of Xi'an has been a hot spring bathing resort since ancient times and was also where the Xi'an Incident took place. During Emperor Xuanzong's reign in Tang Dynasty, it was a bathing place for the royal family and court ministers. Now, you can visit the royal pools of Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, named Lotus Pool and Haitang Pool respectively. In 1936, the Xi'an Incident took place and changed China's destiny. In the southern part of the scenic spot, the “five halls” of Chiang Kai-shek’s old residential site were preserved intact, and the bullet marks of the fierce battle are still left on the walls.

Yaowang (The King of Medicine) Mountain is located in Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province. It was called Qingyu Mountain during the Tang Dynasty, and Wutai Mountain after the Song Dynasty. Later, it was named after the fact that Sun Simao, the pharmacist of the Sui-Tang period famed as the “king of medicine,” retired here in his later years. The events of "Fooling the Lords," a famous story from Chinese history, took place on this mountain. The mountain is divided into the eastern and western ridges. The main sights lie along the western ridge, and include the Beacon Tower in the story "Fooling the Lords," and the Bingjian Pavilion commemorating the Xi'an Incident. The Beacon Tower lies at the mountain peak, and is therefore the highest scenic spot on the mountain. The Bingjian Pavilion is where Chiang Kaishek was discovered hiding during the Xi'an Incident of 1936. At the foot of Lishan lies the famous Huaqing Pool. The view looking down over Huaqing Pool from the Sunset Pavilion on the mountain at dusk is known as "Sunset at Lishan," and is one of the famous sights within the Hangu Pass.

Xiang Shan is located on the Northwestern side of the Liu Lin Yao Cun, 45 kilometers Northwest of Tong Chuan Yao Zhou City.
