Fuqing Branch of Fujian Normal University (Northeast Gate)

Fujian Normal University Fuqing Branch is a university under the dual management of Fujian Provincial Department of Education and Fujian Normal University, and is an important organic part of Fujian Normal University. The school is located in Fuqing City, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, with Wumashan Campus and Shizhushan Campus. As of September 2016, the campus covers an area of more than 1,550 mu, with a construction area of over 220,000 square meters and a sports field of 33,000 square meters. There are 9 colleges and 29 undergraduate majors, covering literature, science, engineering, teaching, economics, law, management and art. In May 2018, the Ministry of Education planned to approve the establishment of the Fujian Institute of Applied Technology. In 2019, the Ministry of Education plans to approve the establishment of Fujian Technical Teachers College.
