Sanfang Qixiang Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
October, South Hou Street, Fuzhou
South Hou Street in Fuzhou starts from the west at Yangqiao intersection, and ends in the south at the intersection of Jibi Lane and Macau Road, with a total length of about 1000 meters. It is the central axis of the 'Three Lanes and Seven Alleys' in Fuzhou city. There are seven alleys on its east side and three lanes on its west side. It was the main commercial street from the rise of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys in Fuzhou to the Republic of China period, with merchants gathered from north to south. South Hou Street is the central axis of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. The renovated South Hou Street will be full of ancient charm, and the width of the road will reach 12 meters, including a 7-meter-wide pedestrian street. South Hou Street, which starts from Yangqiao Road and ends at Jibi Road, is only 634 meters long. It is a leisure and cultural commercial street that combines tradition and modernity. Unfortunately, the old South Hou Street and some of the surrounding buildings were demolished from 2007 to 2009, and most of the existing buildings are replicas. With the construction of the new South Hou Street, many modern businesses have also entered this ancient area.
Now it is mainly about eating and drinking, which is quite suitable for the new generation.

Fuzhou Sanfang Seven Lanes to eat all Raiders h
Fuzhou Sanfang Qixiang originated in the Jin Dynasty, covering an area of about 40 hectares, consisting of three squares, seven lanes and a central axis Street South Street. The three squares are Yijinfang, Wenrufang and Guanglufang; Qizhixiang are Yangqiao Lane, Langguan Lane, Taxiang, Huangxiang, Anmin Lane, Gongxiang and Jipi Lane. The ancient layout of the alleys has remained largely intact.
The general tour of Sanfangqixiang is: South Back Street Gate, along the South Back Street, from left to right, you can visit Langguan Lane and Tower Lane. Tower Lane, turn right and buy a cup of Starbucks, and continue to swim in Huangxiang and Yijinfang with coffee. You can't miss the Shoushan Stone Carving Hall and Zong Taozhai. After swimming through these, you will find a few old Fuzhou snacks and fish balls in the central area of South Back Street. Fill your stomach and continue to visit Wenrufang and Anmin Lane. The focus of the tour is on Wenrufang, stop and take a look, and turn right to the Fujian Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo. Finally, visit the Palace Lane, Guanglufang, Jipi Lane. At the end of the South Back Street, there is a fixed photo at the stone monument of Sanfangqixiang, and the three squares and seven lanes are finished. If you walk along the three squares and seven lanes like the above position, you cant see why you cant see it. The real way to go is to pick one or two more interesting squares and go shopping. A house, as small as one brick and one watt.

Shangxiahang Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Shanghang Road and Xiahang Road in Taijiang and its nearby neighborhoods are commonly known as “Shuanghang”. It refers to two parallel horizontal streets from Xiaoqiaotou to Damiao Road. It was the commercial center and shipping dock of Fuzhou in the early years. "Hang" was originally derived from the "air" sound, which is the meaning of the pier. It has been the place where the tides have gathered since ancient times. There is a historical process of geographical change. In ancient times, the rivers bypassed the temples, and the upper and lower hangs were the mouths of the Jinkou. The star shifts and the hydrological changes. The original waterfront pier has gradually become the hinterland of riverside business and life with the increasing impact of land. Although Shanghang Street is slightly worn out compared with other places in Fuzhou, the people living here are so comfortable, I don’t feel that this is an old street surrounded by noisy cities around as if they still live in their own circles. Although this circle is fragile, it may not exist if it is not protected, but only one day, they will live in peace and harmony.
The romance of Fuzhou occupies half of Shangxia Hang
This is not Jiangnan, but Fuzhou's Shangxia Hang...
Strolling on the bluestone path by the river
Feels like the bridges and flowing water, the misty rain of Jiangnan
The mist by the riverbank and the light show are ethereal
Wandering on Santong Bridge, or boating by the creek, or sitting in a teahouse
Is an experience both splendid and romantic
⛩️ Shangxia Hang Scenic Area is located in Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, the only national historic and cultural district within the city of Fuzhou. It was once an important commercial hub and dock in Fuzhou, with a rich history and cultural connotations
Here, the cultural heritage is profound, being an important birthplace of the Min merchant spirit and a place for the inheritance of Min merchant culture, as well as a significant node on the Maritime Silk Road, known as the 'Fuzhou Traditional Commercial Museum'
🌟 Highlights: Shangxia Hang has developed six core products: night scenery, banquets, performances, entertainment, shopping, and accommodation, transforming the district into a great place for tourists to relax, travel, shop, and stay. It is one of the key night economy experience demonstration districts in Fuzhou City and is also one of the first batch of national-level night culture and tourism consumption aggregation areas identified by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism
🗓 Recommended Route - Shangxia Hang Square (check-in at the wooden archway) → Santong Bridge (take photos of the misty rain of Jiangnan on the bridge) → Lusen Bookstore (retro decoration) → Yongde Guild Hall (Sino-Western cultural architecture) → Xing'an Bridge → Zhang True Man Ancestral Hall (the merchant's god of wealth) → Nanjun Guild Hall → Defa Jingguo Line (most beautiful architecture) → City Art Museum
🚉 Transportation Tips: Take Metro Line 1 to Dadadao Station Exit C, 7 minutes walk
🎫 Ticket Price: The scenic area is free, boat rides are charged
One-day self-driving tour in Fuzhou
I have been to Fuzhou before and visited the Sanfang Qixiang, so I didn't go there this time. We first went to Yantai Mountain Park, which is more of a small hill than a mountain, which is good news for those who don't like climbing. Overall, there's nothing special, it's just a park on a hillside. There's no need to make a special trip to check in.
The next attraction we visited was the Shangxiahang Historical and Cultural District, where we enjoyed some food and drinks. Overall, it's much better than Yantai Mountain Park and worth a visit. For accommodation, we stayed at the Yinmo Light Luxury Hotel (Minhou University Town branch) in the evening. The interior decoration is new and quite nice, and the price is relatively cheap. However, the rooms are very close to each other, and the soundproofing is very poor. Children were running around in the corridor in the middle of the night, and the voices from other rooms could be heard. It was difficult to fall asleep at night, so I would not recommend it for those who have trouble sleeping.
The best warm city for Spring Festival travel
【Fuzhou】
🌸 Suitable for Spring Festival travel warm city Fuzhou 🌸
For more than two thousand years, Fuzhou has been the capital of Fujian, giving birth to a deep, traditional, unique culture. The natural scenery is magnificent, and the food is unique. ☀️ Yuanjiang is one of the hottest county towns in Yunnan, the "City of the Sun", a small city belonging to fruits. Because of the long sunshine time throughout the year, fresh fruits are on the market every month, the price is affordable, and you can achieve fruit freedom in minutes. There are many ethnic minorities in Yuanjiang (such as Dai, Hani, Yi, etc.), rich in ethnic culture, and many foods. In addition to the warm climate, Yuanjiang also has an attractive 94-degree natural sulfur spring. Soaking in the natural hot spring in winter is so relaxing and enjoyable!☀️

My travel route—Watch the sunset at Qiguan Top—Set off fireworks at Dinghai Bay👀
I accidentally discovered the aurora while setting off fireworks on the beach of Dinghai Bay at night. It was truly stunning. It turns out that the warning lights of the fishing boats nearby🚨 would light up in green.
💕Qiguan Top (🎫0)
The Fujian version of 'Rio de Janeiro'
1800 steps
Climb to the top of the mountain to overlook the small fishing village
💕Dinghai Bay
The Fujian version of 'Maldives'
The sand is fine and doesn't hurt your feet
There are many entertainment projects
You can also set off fireworks at night
🍳Food recommendations:
1⃣️Fish noodles, fish balls, oyster pancakes
2⃣️Various seafood! Abalone, mantis shrimp, oysters, razor clams
🏠Accommodation
I chose the Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay because it's only 20 minutes from Qidavillage, and the hotel has huge floor-to-ceiling windows! The sea view outside the window is completely unobstructed👁️ It was amazing! The hotel's restaurant offers a rich variety of dishes, with all kinds of cuisines available~ The beach is just downstairs🏖️ There are also amusement facilities to play with! Very comfortable☀️
It's not abroad, it's Fuzhou, as if I went to Rio de Janeiro
Take advantage of the off-season when there are fewer people and check in at Qida Village in Fuzhou!! It's really beautiful❗️❗️
From the top of the mountain, you can see the endless azure sea, as well as the fishing village below🌊
It really resembles Rio de Janeiro in Brazil~ No matter how you take the photo, the view is gorgeous!! The temperature is just right during the off-season, and there aren't many people~ so the scenery is really photogenic!!👀👀
It was windy when I went, but for the sake of the photo! You can still take off your coat and take beautiful pictures~
📍Address
Qida Village, Qiguan Top, Fuzhou City
1⃣️ You should choose a day with good weather to go, otherwise the sea view will be greatly reduced, and remember to protect yourself from the sun! No admission fee required
2⃣️ Taking a taxi to Qiguan Top means you don't have to climb a long flight of stairs to reach the top of the mountain, about a 15~20 minute walk
3⃣️You can also take a ride with a scooter driver for 10 yuan per person to climb to the top of the mountain~
4⃣️Sisters who want to exercise can hike up 1800 steps, and the view at the top is breathtaking~
5⃣️There are water sellers along the trail, and you can purchase by scanning a QR code
6⃣️The better photo spots are on the big rocks, those who are afraid of heights must be careful and pay attention to safety! There are also drones for shooting, but I think a smartphone is enough~
🍳Food recommendations:
1⃣️Fish noodles, fish balls, oyster pancakes
2⃣️Various seafood! Abalone, mantis shrimp, oysters, razor clams
🏠Accommodation
I chose the Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel because it's only 20min away from Qida Village, and the hotel has huge floor-to-ceiling windows! The sea view outside the window is stunning👁️ It amazed me! There's a beach downstairs🏖️ and amusement facilities to play with! Very comfortable☀️
Qida Village, it fulfills all my fantasies about travel!
💡Crossing mountains and ridges just for this sight👀!
🚦Taking advantage of the Spring Festival holiday not yet over, the highway is free, without any hesitation, let's go, my 2024🚗🚗
☀️Heaven's favor, the weather these two days is really too good😄
🌟Fuzhou Qida Village|A severely underestimated treasure fishing village 'Domestic version of Rio de Janeiro' How can you not come!? And now there's no admission fee!! It's worth a trip to Lianjiang just to overlook this colorful fishing village🌊
🏘In the village, you can see many houses built on the edge of the cliff🏠, even the scenery here is the color of the waves🌊
🌄To reach the top of the mountain, you need to climb up 1800 steps, about 1 hour to reach the top. When you finish climbing this road, you can see this village nestled against the mountain and surrounded by the sea on three sides.🏘It's like a city in the sky above the sea, and like a mysterious hidden island🧤It seems that as long as you open your arms, you can embrace the whole world🌏
💋There are many guides online, I won't babble. Sharing that I stayed at the Dinghai Bay Ruolin Hotel this time, it was really another surprise on the journey🏤Only 20 minutes from Qida Village, the sea view room has a large floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea, this is what a vacation should look like!!
🎆In the new year, I hope everything can be as perfect as this trip🎆

Cherrie Angeles ( The Philippines ) Yantai Mountain is imbued with a rich artistic atmosphere
The streets of Yantai Mountain are long and lined with tall banyan trees, and along the streets, there are cultural relics buildings of various styles.
Beyond the spire of Tian'an Hall flows the quiet river, and behind the tall white walls lies the quaint stone church, whose roof is mottled and covered with moss. The two ancient trees in front of the courtyard are still lush and verdant.
The Methodist headquarters has been converted into a cafe, where you can see the soft lighting through the windows, and the interior is decorated in the style of the Republic of China. When tired, sit down for a drink and slowly enjoy the street view through the window.
Some windows of the former French Consulate are already broken, which can't help but make one sigh at the vicissitudes of time.
The American Consulate ruins are relatively well-preserved, with two rose bushes blooming with white flowers in front of the door.
Does everyone think the cultural relic building cafe under the sunset is unique enough?
Yantai Mountain Park
♥Reason for recommendation:
Art is at the end of history! ◎On the bank of the Minjiang River, Yantai Mountain successfully buries the dust of history in the modern blue sky and green grass and the lights and wine, if you feel that there are few people on the streets of Fuzhou, they are probably all in Yantai Mountain.
Yantai Mountain has gardens, cafes, dessert shops, restaurants, schools, and grocery stores, where you can stroll all day without feeling bored. It's very suitable for checking in and taking pictures!
It's worth going, I've been there twice, (day and night)
Transportation strategy:
Subway station: Shangteng Station (500 meters on foot)
Gulangyu in Fuzhou is endlessly charming, making people never get tired of it even after ten thousand visits!
👀Some say it's like Qingdao, some say it's like Gulangyu, but in fact, it has its own unique charm, unknown to others!
🌈Half of the romance of Fuzhou is here. In the streets and alleys of Yantai Mountain, at the corner, through the ups and downs of a hundred years, witnessing history and poetry.
📍Location: Cangshan District, Yantai Mountain
🚇Transportation: Get off at Shangteng Station on Metro Line 1
🏯There is a large area here in Yantai Mountain, not only Yantai Mountain Park, but also many streets and buildings, which are very photogenic and scattered.
🚶I strolled around for half a day and summarized a route: Metro Station→Wanchun Lane→Lixin Road→Park Road→Progress Road→Maiyuan Road→Huaiyin Lane→Lequn Road→Dongqun Road→Chiho Lane→Y+space→Cangqian Road→Metro Station
🌟Come to Yantai Mountain and feel its unique charm!
